Job Summary:

Qualifications:

  • International Relations, Political Science, Mass Communications, History, or a relevant field. An MSc/MA is a plus.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years of work experience post-NYSC is required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven leadership experience in a similar position, including project strategy development, and implementation.
  • A solid grasp of the intersection of journalism, news media, and democracy.
  • A strong interest in, understanding and verifiable experience of girls’ and women’s issues, particularly in relation to journalism and development.
  • Previous involvement in the nonprofit sector.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
  • Possesses an analytical mindset with robust problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
  • Personal drive with a keen sense of ownership and a track record of project completion.
  • Commitment to learning, integrity, honesty, emotional intelligence, discipline, sincerity and teamspirit.
