Pro-Engage
Pro-Engage is WSCIJ’s flagship project for engaging students of journalism with professionals, especially from the media industry towards enhancing their skills as the present and future of journalism in Nigeria.
The Pro-Engage series was conceived as a response to the gnawing lacuna in the media for mentoring. It exists to bridge the knowledge and mentoring gap between students of journalism as well as beginner journalists and professional/veteran journalists in Nigeria.
The project has since its commencement in 2016 been held for students of different higher institutions engaging Mass Communication students from host schools and neighbouring schools, towards enhancing their reportorial skills in general, and their ability to do investigations in particular.
