Presidential Precinct, a U.S.-based organisation dedicated to empowering emerging leaders to address pressing global challenges, has announced Toyosi Ogunseye as its new President/CEO.
Ogunseye is only the second person to hold this role, succeeding Founding Director Neal Piper after nearly a decade of transformative leadership.
The 2013 Wole Soyinka Award For Investigative Reporting (WSAIR) winner in the Health category holds a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Lagos, a PGD in print journalism from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, and an MSc in Media and Communication from the Pan-Atlantic University, Nigeria.
The former Sunday Editor of The Punch and Head of BBC West Africa’s appointment follows a competitive international search led by the Precinct’s Executive Committee in partnership with Lincoln Leadership. Toyosi Ogunseye is a recipient of over 35 international awards.
